MISIA IS COMING TO SINGAPORE!

Totally unexpected for the
first J-Pop singer to perform in Singapore! This concert is to commemorate her 10th Anniversary Asia Tour.
Also, i seriously think they let MISIA perform here rather than Ayu because they think MISIA reminds us of our Singapore delicacy, Mee Siam.
She actually came to Singapore on
30th July! And i only know about the news on the
31st July! WTF!?
You all must have watched the news or read it in newspapers or magazines about her concert here and guess what.
I'M GOING TO HER CONCERT.Once in a lifetime opportunity, i tell you and i can't possibly wait until she's like damn old and can't sing anymore.
To think that i thought Ayu would be the first J-pop singer i'll see live.
Do you know that MISIA concerts have one of the best stage layouts in Japan? Yes, the way she designs her stage is really awesome and should purchase the front seat tickets.
You can try and go to YouTube to find her concert performances, especially from her latest concert,
"The Tour of MISIA 2008 EIGHTH WORLD".When she came i'm like, damn jealous that she signed their CDs, because if i were there i would totally bring my MISIA collection!
Which is so small. Her vocals are also awesome.
(Though Sibyl thinks it sucks a lot because it's deep) Do you know that she's dubbed as the Mariah Carey of Japan? Even though their CD sales can't relate to each other but MISIA is the only female J-artist that has the 5 octaves that Mariah Carey has as well.
Lifted from Kosmic Film Entertainment:Highly acclaimed by many, Misia is the only Asian singer to possess an impressive five-octave range of vocals (The Whistle Octave). For this, she is known as the “Mariah Carey of Japan”, a title recognized by many as testimony to her amazing singing prowess. When Misia debuted in 1998, it marked the beginning of a shift towards a more soulful, R&B-influenced brand of Japanese Pop. She has played an extremely important role in setting off the R&B trend in Japan, paving the way for artistes like Utada Hikaru and Crystal Kay.
Misia also holds the distinction of being the first ever female solo act to tour five major-domed stadiums in Japan in 2004 with critical success. On 29 September 2007, Misia held her first overseas concert in Taiwan, garnering tremendously positive responses and resulting in a huge success.
The concert is going to be titled
"The Tour of MISIA Discotheque Asia" and the word
"Discotheque" is really cool, and i hope that her next album is going to be titled
Discotheque, which is what happened to
EIGHTH WORLD before the album was announced.
It will be on a
Saturday on 13th September, convenient for me, and it's going to be held in the
Singapore Expo Convention Hall 1, which if i'm not wrong the smallest hall there? Well, that's what i heard in the forums.
Hall seatingWhich section am i going to get?
The orange section of course! The tickets would be $148 exclusive of booking price because as i mentioned, she has awesome stage layouts which is worth to spend money for her concerts. I'm going to book the tickets soon, say, this weekend or next week.
Though Ayu's stages are bigger and thus slightly better. Which is also why she can't possibly hold a concert in Singapore as she only performs in huge, i mean huge, arenas that could fit like 10,000 people.
I might go for section AA2 since it's at the front which is a good place.
So excited for the concert!
Why did they announce it so early!? Make me so kanchiong. I hope there will be tour goods as well.
The tour kicks off at Taipei at the end of August, from what i heard when i was late at seeing the MISIA section about her tour.
13 SEPTEMBER FASTER COME!! Aiyo. Nobody go with me. Sian.
