So I went to watch Scre4m.

And let's just say... it was pretty awesome. I wouldn't say it's better than the first but I feel it's better than Scream 2 and Scream 3. Especially how this time round the number of times you hear "fuck" is phenomenal.

I remember how I watched one of the movies when I was young (tells you a lot about my parents' upbringing of me) and have since grown a liking to it though I was scared shitless back then but I would still watch it again anyway every time they'd randomly air it on Channel 5.

Oh, and also, it's my first NC16 movie! I feel so old and mature. The cinema was also very empty. You'd wonder how full the cinemas would be for M18 movies.

Also, bet you watched the Royal Wedding yesterday didn't you?

It was absolute torture.

The grand castles... in Britain... everyone looking fabulous and rich... so luxurious and grand... while at the same time, believe that hidden somewhere in the castle lies a chamber with shitloads of cash in it.

And not to mention the most important highlights of the event which are none other than hats, as well as a bal- I'll leave it at there.

Her hat looks so pretty! Her hat looks so this! Her hat looks so that! Is she wearing two hats?! Is she wearing a hat in a hat? Is she wearing a hat inception?

So many questions, so much JEALOUSY! And then you start wondering WHY AM I NOT OF ROYALTY and then start slashing your wrist and/or jump down buildings.

Watching the programme was like eating chilli. They trigger your pain receptors yet at the same time release endorphins, making you unable to stop watching. It's a tragic thing.

But hey, I am going to be so motivated and achieve success GREATER THAN ROYALTY!!! Muahahaha and I'll become so rich I can buy 10 castles to myself.

Then I can ask the queen to kiss my more-than-royal ass. (This will come down later in my life to be one of my greatest contradictions ever made)

And not to mention Kate Middleton looked damn beautiful in that dress. She is, as I like to call it, a RILF. Go figure that out yourself. This will be a statement heavily looked down upon by teachers that read this.

Speaking of the queen I laughed so hard when they say she's part of the illuminati!!! Lololololol!!! Can you imagine her saying that with the finest English accent?

"Why, this devil business seems pretty interesting! One is intrigued! Now make me a lovely cuppa tea while one discusses with Satan to be part of his marvellous club. And bring along some gin as well."

Sigh. I'm going to get sued one day.

Updating because I can

The month is coming to an end and today was the first paper for the Mid Years! Time flies when you're having fun, except I'm not.

I probably won't be updating until the next CDs of the Month post next month. Just to tell you upfront because I care for you. (Or do I?)

Probably the last time I'll ever get to show these off

Exactly 7 days ago was none other than our Passing Out Parade! Can't say I'm happy but I can't say I'm extremely sad about it also.

Also because I am so lazy, the fact that it was the last time I would be wearing my uniform wasn't a valid reason for me to painstakingly polish the boots using the proper method. So I used liquid polish again. Little effort, little time consumed!

Speaking of boots I am probably one of the last few people in the unit having owned and used the same pair of boots for Red Cross for 4 years straight! It looks so tattered that I'm actually sending it to the national museum soon because it's so antique-looking.

Ella, Shamira and I

With Shiela

Both of us have the same rank and the same IBS badges. Then I see her lanyard and curse and swear.

Award-winning crybaby of the day

Mindfuck of a picture because I look tiny beside Khairi.

Juniors watching in the gallery

And these are the 3 cadets from our batch that were awarded with the Best Cadet plaque!

and Shoba!

Shoba is the saddest of all because Mdm Sangeetha, whom was the emcee, missed out her name.

Speaking of Mdm Sangeetha... she should never be the emcee for anything ever again! This is like one of the most significant events in our lives yet her speech was impromptu, and she just conveniently left out names without even being aware that she only read out 2 names for Red Cross. It wasn't until Mrs Tan had to walk up to her and tell her she missed Shoba. SIAD.

Well that was embarrassing. Aside from the fact that this picture exemplifies my epic slow reaction, but when we were bersurai-ing I totally forgot to salute before marching off. *hides in shame*

Threw our berets again! Try to pump me now suckas! Come to think of it this looks like it could be a screenshot from the national anthem music video.

Doing our last Billy Banja as a Red Cross cadet! It is moments like this that make me regret buying my Red Cross shirt in XL.

And who the heck is Billy Banja anyway? Who is Billy? Who is Banja? Even Google doesn't give you answers.

So for the past 4 years I've been looking like an idiot going round and round chanting someone's name I don't even know exists or not! ~Life's mysteries~

Oh yeah

With Mrs Sherry Tan whom is probably one of the best Youth Officers ever! Bet you didn't expect me to say that did you?

After the parade we all went to do our last pumping for her! And after we did it she did what we all would least expect her to do - CRY! ;_;

She even handmade nice little cards for each of the graduating NCOs. It's also her last year as a YO with our school so she is also in a way graduating with us too! When she handed mine she even went "Can I have a hug?!?!" hahaha

And speaking of crying everyone just started crying after that. The Sec 4s, and even the Sec 3s like KIMBERLY and PINXUAN among many others.

I am a strong person because I didn't cry! Lol no la but honestly speaking I felt that the parade was rather... underwhelming?

I know it seems weird but I somewhat feel indifferent after the parade. It only started to hit me while walking to Jurong Point and just didn't talk for a while.

So while everybody was crying the only consolation I could tell them was "Don't cry, later got buffet!"

Unfortunately because we took so long the other UGs pretty much stole everything already, so we were just left with fried rice or fried noodles. They were still nice though.

Zainab BEE BEE, Mages, Me, Vince, Nazzer and Shiela

A cake for us specially bought by DARREN SIM from his own pocket! So nice of him leh.

I felt bad that day because 2 trainings before I mentioned to him about his unibrow. IT WAS JUST AN OBSERVATION LA OKAY! Then on that day I realised he shaved the unibrow away. GUILT.

Adeline crying for the 52nd time

Mrs Tan feeding the Sec 4s cake one by one LOL.

Well this is embarrassing

With Zafira! The little vajayjays are actually supposed to be her spectacles LOL. Because when she started wearing them I constantly made fun of them by doing that and putting it on my eyes during training.

With Mr Aziz!

With Pin Xuan the second crybaby

With Amos who was one of the 3 NPCC Cadets to win the Best Cadet plaque!

And the last picture of the post will be a very inappropriately vulgar one:

Hehehehe. Unfortunately Kimberly wasn't game for it so yea.

Anyway the day was a happy occasion rather than a sad one which I initially expected the latter to be. Lesser tears from people than I had thought.

And now that I come to think of it, I'm quite happy to be at my position in Red Cross. I didn't participate in ANY competitions at all and I still can become a Warrant Officer! You GOT to give it to me!

Kia si lang!

Oh... the horror... the font... the text... the cheap, poorly-executed bevel and emboss... the motorbike.

That is, ladies and gentlemen, the upcoming album cover of Lady Gaga's Born This Way.

The whole thing in general just seems extremely... amateur-ish? Even down to the concept... how is photoshopping yourself onto a motorcycle... urgh I don't even

Even the single cover is better than this!

Then again she isn't really known for amazing covers anyway looking at The Fame and The Fame Monster.

And then you all philosophical wannabes will be like, "Don't judge a book by its cover." Shut up!

Not that I'm not going to buy it because I think Born This Way is nice (except its loltastic video) and Judas has already grown on me after listening to it for a few times.

Anyway a couple of posts coming up within the next few weeks (no guarantees) so you can look forward to that and my Mid-Years are amazingly around the corner already! Time flies when you're having fun, except I'm not.

Recently also filmed what could be our last CME project and it is very... sexual ;) If Singapore Censorship Board watched it it'd probably be NC16.

We didn't have to present it to the class though I think the teachers will judge all the videos then choose the best one. In which case we're probably out for being a bunch of horny bastards!

So touched today :(

So today was Wednesday and you can say it was our last Red Cross training. But technically it isn't, because I count this Friday's Pass Out Parade as our last!

While it is sad that my Red Cross journey is about to come to an end, I am also sad because I will be leaving my juniors who are the sweetest bunch of people ever!

Today during training they kept telling me not to go and that I should stay until the day THEY leave Red Cross instead. Aww!

I never really thought that I'd be on such good terms with my juniors because I was rather afraid they'd think I was shit fierce and be cold towards me but ever since I became an NCO I guess I just got nicer? I've never really punished anyone while being an NCO.

And then one of the Sec 2 cadets asked if I was leaving Red Cross already, and when I said yes she told me to just come back after that and don't care about O Levels! Lol!

Sigh but I guess all good things must come to an end. I'm just glad that our batch managed to sustain an EUA Gold for the unit once again.

And I shan't say anymore because I'll probably blog again some time after our Passing Out Parade. You know what sucks though? I heard the parade will be in the hall. In other words, there won't be any marching or anything. Sigh.

In other news, what's also worthy of a sigh is that my old friends would probably know that I've been having a slight Red-Green Defiancy (RGD) since 2007. Or some of you might call it colour blindness.

Like I said, it is only SLIGHT because the leaves are still green, and your menstrual blood is still red to me. So I don't know what's the issue.

But apparently the HPB sent a letter to the school saying that I REALLY NEED assistance for my O Levels Science Practical, especially Chemistry since we'll be dealing with colours and all that.

And according to Miss Teo on the phone call it was AS SERIOUS AS DESMOND. Shit son you kidding? Desmond can't see purple. I can see all colours, including red and green! What is this shit???

The reason why I feel so uptight about this is that... the school needs the official letter. I don't even know where it is now.

I have to find it somehow.

Don't blame me leh the letter is like 4 years old? And back then I didn't think it'd be so important in my lifetime so I just conveniently left it somewhere, never to be discovered again.

So yea it's getting quite late so bye!

H is for Hantu ~or so they say~

So if you read my tweets you'd probably know that 2 Fridays ago I went to watch...

H is for Hantu!
Along with 150 of the 4E/5N students.

And I have to say the show was pretty freaking amazing.

Even before I went to school before the show, I went into 7-11 and the radio was playing Friday. From then on I knew it was going to be a great night.

I'm not going to reveal much because I don't really want to spoil anyone and even if you're not intending to watch it, you should because it kicks ass.

Anyway the show ended up being WAY better than I had expected!

My favourite character is the Cik Pon / Pontianak! If you watched XX's Guide to Life episode to Ghosts you'd know who it is. She is damn funny man!!!! The way she expresses herself, the way she speaks and everything.

It's also worth noting that all the actors sported minah accents which made the play 1000x funnier.

Also I think because a lot of people attended, some of us had to sit on the floor with mats right in front of the stage! I know right, pay $21.50 to sit on the floor LMAO

No la actually the seats are for the general public who also paid but I guess it's always alright for students to sit on the floor because we do that every morning anyway.

Speaking of which, I read a review of the play prior to this somewhere and the person attended on the same date as us, and mentioned that he was in awe when he saw so many teenagers attending the play. Funny or what!!!!

Anyway sitting on the floor was kind of worth it because I was asked up the stage!!! Ok la it's not really that much of a big deal but Eugene and I were asked up to hold up some banner for the dude to show the audience.

And guess what? Before the show Mr Leong was telling a group of people including me that we just might get selected to go up to stage! (Even gave me a special mention not to steal the limelight WHAT IS THIS SUPPOSED TO MEAN ASFANFKLSJDF) True enough, he was right. (Selected part not limelight part) I have found my new life coach.

Once again, the show is REALLY FUNNY. It was just laughter after laughter at least for the first 3 quarters of the show. Admittedly, things pretty much went downhill after the interval because I thought the plot started to get all predictable and cliché. But hey, as long as it completes the show in a nice flow right?

Aside from the plot, one of the props freaked the shit out of me because it revealed a face that LOOKED LIKE LADY GAGA LMAO NOT EVEN JOKING HERE! Like 90% resemblance. Farrrniiieee.

But oddly enough for a musical there was quite a few number of songs they sang only. Though the actors don't particularly have canorous voices I thought it was a good effort anyway.

So to sum everything up, it's awesome!

Too bad for some people that didn't even want go. Somehow I think their reason would be them not having faith in local productions.

I would agree if it was our music industry la but I think the theatre industry in Singapore has one of the brightest futures in the arts industry of Singapore leh!

I guess they can't crack the global market because a lot of our local theatre productions are based wholly on local context.

On a random sidenote, for some reason my throat became sore right after the musical. I ended up sounding like Mr Jaya AND the homeless man with the golden voice combined. Long story short, I was probably possessed.

I shall thus end this post with 2 attractive (usually the opposite if you're not me) pictures of yours truly:

With Shiela

With Ayu

Le pink

Once again went to change the rubber bands for my braces and this month, I put pink coloured ones! Due to apparent popular demand.

I actually don't find it very obvious yet people notice it damn quickly when I talk to them LOL.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a difference at all. Sad.

What is also unfortunate is how I have nothing else to say so I think that's all for this post. Bye!

CDs of the month! (#15)

I know, I am once again ~late~ so I apologize to you 5 or so people.

What shouldn't be apologized about is how I only have 1 CD this month! That's right!

Britney's Femme Fatale! The deluxe edition, of course.

I actually wanted to order the Japan edition which had 1 more bonus track than this (because I am a tight-arse) but before I could even do it it already sold out on all online stores.

~*Luxurious digipak*~

It actually looks like something you'd see in super high class dark chocolate sold out there, except this isn't.

The digipak is also surprisingly thin. Thinner than Teenage Dream's in fact. Not that it's a bad thing la can save space!

I really need to say that this album is actually mind-blowingly good! I prefer it to her previous 2 albums Circus and Blackout, really.

The first half of the album is better than the second half though, but the bonus tracks are definitely top-notch. If only they swapped places with songs from the second half of the album.

One reason not to buy standard edition as well: UGLY BLACK FONT ON THE COVER WTF.

At least the digipak one the font is goldy goldy. (Yes I coined it myself)

Anyway the reason why there's only 1 CD this month is obviously because of the disaster that took place in Japan.

There were going to be albums from Namie, Kuu and Ayu but they were delayed!

And you know why?

Because they decided to use the trucks for transporting medical supplies and stuff to the victims instead of manufacturing / transporting the CDs. Seriously man, the Japanese never fail to amaze.

Even Yakuzas donated money to aid the victims.

As for Singapore... I went "really?" when I read that the government donated only $500k.

So yea, that's why there's only 1 this month!

That's all for the post so goodnight and have a nice day. That sounded formal didn't it.
